Privacy policy
This page explains what data I collect, why, and what rights you have. I try to collect only what is truly necessary.
Who is the data controller
The controller of your personal data is Weronika Nowak. For any matters concerning your data, you can write to kontakt@werka.art.
What data I collect and why
When you send a message through the form on this website, I store:
- your name and e-mail address, so that I can reply,
- the content of your message and the options you chose (size, medium, budget),
- photos, if you attach any — only to prepare a quote and paint the commission,
- your IP address and the time of sending — only to protect the form against spam.
I process this data to reply to your message, prepare a quote and — if we agree — carry out the commission. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract and performing that contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), as well as my legitimate interest in handling correspondence and preventing abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Providing your data is voluntary, but without an e-mail address I will not be able to reply.
How long I keep the data
I keep messages and attached photos until our conversation ends. If a commission follows, I keep them for the time needed to complete it and for as long as the law requires (e.g. tax regulations) or as long as claims may be pursued. You can ask me to delete your data earlier at any time.
Who I share the data with
I do not sell or share your data with other companies for marketing purposes. The data is stored by my web hosting and e-mail provider (Spaceship), which processes it solely on my behalf. If the data is stored outside the European Economic Area, this is done on the basis of safeguards provided for in the GDPR (e.g. standard contractual clauses).
Your rights
You have the right to:
- access your data and receive a copy of it,
- rectify (correct) your data,
- have your data erased,
- restrict processing,
- data portability,
- object to processing based on legitimate interest.
To exercise these rights, write to me at kontakt@werka.art. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland, uodo.gov.pl), or with the data protection authority in your country.
Cookies and statistics
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Visits are counted in a simple, anonymous way: without cookies and without storing IP addresses — I only record which page was viewed, the type of device and where the visit came from (e.g. Instagram). This cannot be used to identify you.
This website does not load anything from external services — fonts, images and scripts come from my own server, so browsing it does not connect you to Google or any other company. Links to social media (e.g. Instagram) only take you to those services when you click them.
Changes
If I change how data is processed, I will update this page and the date at the top.
This is a translation for convenience; the Polish version is the binding one.
